Salisbury's Avila Vineyard epitomizes the perfect climate for Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Albariño and Cool Climate Syrah. John Salisbury often hosts guided vineyard trolley tours - his family's 160-year farming legacy in California is quite evident in these inspiring presentations. The Paso Robles vines produce Salisbury's highly regarded Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel. All wines are crafted by the legendary Harold Osborne.
The tasting room is a 103-year old schoolhouse in Avila Valley, located off the frontage road at Hwy 101 and is just two miles from the beaches of Avila and Pismo. Guests can enjoy Salisbury Vineyards' wines while they peruse Salisbury Fine Art Gallery. This Schoolhouse is an ideal venue for public and private events and was a subject in Sunset Magazine. The Salisbury & Rucks family and staff warmly welcome you.
